Julie Carandang

Julie comes to Nuru after working in New York City-based philanthropic and nonprofit organizations. At the Rockefeller Foundation, she supported grantees in areas of African agriculture and global eHealth. Prior, she worked on large-scale fund and awareness-raising campaigns at the Food Bank for NYC and coordinated the Nonprofit Computer Academy for at-risk youth at the Fund for the City of New York. Julie earned her MA in International Development from The New School and her BA in English Literature from Ithaca College.
